Visiting: Dalyan, Mud Bath, Iztuzu Beach, Turtle Beach

Duration: 8 hours

Dalyan is famous for its Turtle Beach, the magnificent Rock Tombs and the natural Mud Baths. It is also a historical place. It is very rare to find a tourist destination in the world with so much of diversity. A visitor lucky enough to visit this corner of the world will experience an excursion combined with three types of recreation; medicinal, sightseeing, and the Dalyan beach.

The tour from Fethiye to Dalyan begins with a 45 minutes drive after our guide picks you up from the port of call.  We will start the journey with Dalyan Mud Bath. And from the fabulous tour on the Dalyan river estuary we will get to another interesting point where you will refresh your skin with sulphuric mud bath. On the way to Dalyan Mud Bath, you will enjoy the scenery of the reed and nature so be prepared to have your camera out! As above you on the cliff, the ancient Tombs of Kings carved right into the cliff face since antiquity. They were the burial chambers for kings and queens of that era, giving a totally stunning sight to any visitors. It is one unique sight that you will never forget so better make sure you have all the photos ready to show your friends back home. There is the main chamber where royal members were buried with their possessions just behind tall entrance. Sadly, their royal possessions that were supposed to accompany them afterlife have been stolen from toms for centuries.

After that it is time for you to enjoy treating your skin in Mud Bath. This Mud Bath is know to cure arthritis and skin problems. It is very popular among so many visitors. After the Mud Bath, apart from feeling refreshed and clean you will feel hungry too. Enjoy an open buffet lunch in a village after your Mud adventure. Now dig in and try all kinds of different traditional Turkish delicacies.

Next we will visit the Iztuzu Beach or Turtle Beach, where the loggerhead turtles breed their offspring. Another thing that makes this place particularly special is the fact that It is surrounded by salt water on one side and fresh water on the other. What a luxurious choice to choose for a swim! Turtle Beach is one of the last breeding grounds of the Sea Turtles and therefore delightfully undeveloped. So it is wonderfully pristine. You will feel that the one and half hours beach-break will be barely enough to appreciate the blessings of this exceptional sand bank. It is recently voted number 1 beach in Turkey. Check it and rate it yourself!

After the swim break at the Iztuzu Beach we will return to our luxurious vehicle to drive back to your port of call. One more thing to try while on this excursion is the delightful barbecued blue crab, you can find it either at the restaurant or on your ship.
